Baile Escocia is an Edinburgh based dance organisation. It specialises in latin dances, primarily salsa and tango but has also been supporting the swing community too. It offers teaching and agency services, as well as salsa DJing.

Baile Escocia has been teaching both salsa and Argentine tango in Edinburgh for well over a decade. Current classses are for Edinburgh University societies.
Since 2009, we have been helping organisers all round the UK negotiate the immigration challenge and bring tango and swing teachers to the UK.
Salsa DJing
We have been DJing regularly at Fiesta Latina, the largest regular event in Scotland, since its resurrection in 2009 as well as other Edinburgh venues.

We’re not actively organising anything just now, what with coronavirus and other commitments. Nevertheless, we hope to return in the future. For now, here’s a sample of things we have done in the past.
